LOL: CeeLo Green on the Grammy’s Red Carpet

By Too Buzzy
CeeLo Green wasn’t just looking gold at the 2017 Grammy Awards, but became internet gold as well. The Twitter universe was once again ready to exploit and pounce on anyone, or “anything” that gave them a reason to. The Grammy Award-winning musician defended the bold fashion statement to be a reflection of his alter-ego “Gnarly Davidson”, and acted as promotion to an upcoming album. Well, Twitter will be Twitter; and this is what some of them had to say…

Waiver Wire: Iman Shumpert is the Man in Cleveland

By Too Buzzy
Welcome back to another week of Fantasy basketball action. We’re about a month of way from seeing your first-round draft picks put on a show in the annual and highly anticipated NBA All-Star Weekend.

Last week, Penny Hardaway was inducted into the Orlando Magic Hall of Fame (about time); rumour has it if Chris Bosh is healthy enough to play next season, the Bulls want first dibs (that’s apparently “news” to Dwyane Wade); and Russell Westbrook — a guy who is averaging a triple-double per game, didn’t claim a starting spot in the Western Conference All-Star lineup.

By Too Buzzy
Just one day after Canada Day, July 2nd, the Canadian flag-resembled colorway of the new Air Jordan 12 were released.

Jordan Brand’s new move released the classics in a colorway that MJ never played in. This release keeps with that pattern; paying homage to the Bulls’ home uniforms (Red/White).

This premium upper-leathered and carbon fibered on the outsole Air Jordans’ are going for $190.

Not that the release has anything to do with Canada and it’s birthday, but any Canadian who rocked these on the day of would have surely done their country justice.

Rob Ford, Toronto’s Ex-Mayor, Dies to Cancer at 46

By Too Buzzy

Following a decade spent in the City Council, Ford was the Mayor of Toronto from 2010 to 2014.

His political antics and brutal honesty in front of rolling cameras made him a city favorite; but several initial denied allegations turned revelation of drug-abuse while in office made him an international phenomenon.

Ford’s new celebrity status was mocked and propelled by the likes of American talk shows hosts such as Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, David Letterman, Jay Leno and Jimmy Kimmel — whose show “Jimmy Kimmel Live” Ford courageously went to appear on in March 2014.

Whether he was recorded practicing his patois in Caribbean restaurants, or enjoying Toronto’s renowned Caribana, Ford always stayed true to his character.

He loved the city, and the city loved him back.

His life and term in office may have been brief, turbulent, and short-lived, but his colorful personality and passion to bring political change will live on through his family and city.

It is widely hoped that he is dancing with Bob Marley, to Bob Marley somewhere in another dimension.
